This session helps judges identify opportunities to examine county-specific child welfare data that includes the number of children in foster care who exit to a permanent home and how long it takes, on average. It also provides information about resources judges can access, such as contact with the leadership of Child Protective Services, the Child Protective Services Benchbook, and consultation from the Supreme Court Children's Commission.
