West Garrett Research Specialist |

| West Garrett is a Research Specialist and analyzes data and provides corresponding conclusions, reports, and presentations. Prior to joining the Texas Indigent Defense Commission, he served as a Research Analyst for the Texas Legislative Budget Board and as an Economist for a small economic consulting firm, EmployStats, that primarily consults for the legal community. He attended the College of William and Mary and received a BA in Economics with a minor in French in 2003. The following year he worked at the United States Census Bureau as a Survey Analyst. He received an MS in Economics in 2006 after two academic years at the University of Texas at Austin. |
