Self-Help Legal Forms and Information
It is always best to have a lawyer. The information on this website is not legal advice, and does not take the place of talking to a lawyer. The law and court proceedings are complicated, and lawyers have legal training. A lawyer can help you understand your rights and options and help get the best result possible in your case. If you go to court without a lawyer, there may be serious consequences and you may be hurt in ways you have not considered before.

English version [pdf] | Spanish version [pdf] - Supreme Court Approved Divorce Forms
The uniform forms, Divorce Set One, was approved on November 13, 2012, by the Supreme Court of Texas, for use in uncontested divorces that do not involve children or real property. The forms may be revised based upon public comments received on or before February 1, 2013. Use of the forms is not required; however, a trial court must not refuse to accept any of the proposed forms simply because the applicant used forms or is not represented by counsel.
