FEES FOR PROCESS SERVER CERTIFICATION
HB 1614, 82nd Legislature, R.S. and Article Seven of SB 1, 82nd Legislature, S.S., authorizes the Process Server Review Board, with approval from the Supreme Court, to collect fees for process server certification and renewal of certification. This legislation became effective September 1, 2011, but the Board did not begin collecting fees until January 1, 2012.
Any person who did not pay the correct amount of fees calculated pursuant to Supreme Court Misc. Docket Order (No. 11-9177) on or prior to the posted deadline of March 30, 2012, was removed from the complete list of persons certified to serve civil process statewide for nonpayment of certification fees on April 2, 2012. To reinstate your certification, you will need to submit your payment to the PSRB. Payment of each fee shall be in the form of a money order, cashier's check, or bank-certified check, made payable to either the Process Server Review Board or the State of Texas. The PSRB will not accept cash or credit/debit cards. All fees are non-refundable.
