Finance & Operations Division Organizational Chart PDF
The Finance and Operations Division performs accounting, budgeting, purchasing, payroll, timekeeping, property inventory, human resources, and facilities management for the Office of Court Administration (O.C.A.). The Division prepares the annual operating budget and biennial budget request, conducts daily accounting functions, develops the annual financial report, coordinates all human resources functions, and participates in other key financial management and reporting matters. It also acquires goods and services in support of O.C.A. operations as well as projects of the Texas Judicial Council, the Judicial Committee on Information Technology, and other judicial boards and commissions.
A key responsibility of the Division is to provide technical assistance to the state appellate courts and other judicial entities in their business operations. This assistance includes advice in such areas as budget development, internal accounting, financial management and reporting, purchasing, and payroll management.
